Abstract 185 - Original Italian Contemporary Painting

Bands of colour stack across the canvas like a remembered horizon: soft yellow, deep violet, a burning red, then a wide sweep of magenta pink that gives way to turquoise, cobalt blue and scattered confetti-like dots of orange and lime. Built up layer over layer, the surface keeps the trace of every brushstroke and every decision.

Created in 2026, Abstract 185 is a large mixed media work on canvas. Seen from across the room it reads as landscape and light; up close it breaks into texture, movement and pure pigment. A piece that changes with the hour of the day and lifts a quiet wall without shouting.
