Red Trees 2, Purple Orange Background — Original Painting

Against a background of deep violet and burning orange, red trees stand in stark, graphic contrast — their forms simplified into bold silhouettes that pulse with colour. Red Trees 2 is an early work in the series, already showing the expressive tension between figure and ground that defines the collection.

Mixed media on paper, with rich layered pigment and a strong sense of compositional rhythm.
